Bio

I am an Inria Researcher at the Valse team of the Inria Lille - Nord Europe center.

I am a Mathematician. I attended as a student and then as a lecturer-researcher various Brazilian, American, Dutch and French universities: Universidade de São Paulo (São Carlos), Universidade Estadual de Campinas, Rutgers University, Université Paris Diderot, Université Louis Pasteur, University of Poitiers , Technische Universiteit Eindhoven, Université de Bourgogne.

I am a member of the management team of CIMPA (International Center for Pure and Applied Mathematics) since December 2008.

Research

My research is in the realm of algebra. My original field of research is algebraic Lie theory and more precisely the theory of Lie algebras and super-algebras and their representations. For some years now, I have been working on algebraic methods for Automatic Control Theory. My recent research focuses on estimation problems and modeling of dynamic biological systems.
